We grow most of our own vegetables, and for grain and dried beans we go to a local organic farmer (and grind the wheat and rye berries in a grain mill). We're currently investigating sources for locally and naturally raised beef, pork, and poultry. Food distribution (and distribution of other goods)is a serious problem as far as energy use.
